Invest In the USA, (IIUSA) will be holding an important webinar on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 3:00 pm EDT that is a “must” for all attorneys, advisors, developers and others involved in any way with EB-5 projects.

According to IIUSA, “While Chinese investors have driven the overall growth of the EB-5 Program over the past several years, the reality of visa retrogression (or a quota backlog for mainland EB-5 investors) means that EB-5 projects will need to look to other parts of the world for investment.”

The 90-minute webinar will present the potential for finding EB-5 investors in countries other than China. While Congress may expand the opportunities for Chinese EB-5 investors, they also may not. That remains to be seen. Regardless, although China is far and away the biggest source of EB-5 immigration investments, sustained retrogression will force some projects to find other sources for the EB-5 funded portions of their projects’ financial stacks.

A panel of experts will explore “several growth markets in Asia, Europe and Latin America that are becoming more important for the EB-5 industry.”
